Get to know Ventalló

Ventalló is a charming village in the Alt Empordà, located in a privileged environment near the Costa Brava, just 10 minutes from L’Escala and the ruins of Empúries, with its magnificent beaches and views of the Gulf of Roses. It is also 10 minutes from Figueres, where the Dalí Museum and the AVE station are located, and very close to the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, an important wetland area known for being a passage for migratory birds.

This municipality has 10 traditional population centres, such as Ventalló, Vila-robau, Valveralla, Saldet, Montiró and Pelacalç. Its landscape is a transition between forests and agricultural fields, highlighting unique places such as “Els Gorgs” de Valveralla, artificial lakes dedicated to water skiing. In addition, Ventalló is within walking distance of other tourist destinations such as Cadaqués and Empuriabrava, making it a strategic place to explore the region.
